This is our October surprise. The NYT will capitulate - because they have to, because they smeared Biden to the point he withdrew from the race.

And from the moment the NYT releases an editorial admitting their failings until Election Day, the only topic will be Trump’s Cognitive Decline. And even if NYT doesn’t capitulate, the competition - WaPo and others - will smell the blood in the water and then there’ll be two stories, with NYT killing stories in favor of boosting Trump being the other.
