My weekend viewing was that the Grand Kyiv Ballet swung through the Treasure Valley. On Friday, I saw Swan Lake. On Sunday, I saw Don Quixote. -- (edited)

I don't pretend to know much about ballet but I am so appreciative of the beauty, grace, and athleticism displayed to beautiful music.
I have bought a season ticket to Ballet Idaho. With two other performances, this year they will perform the Nutcracker (a Christmas staple) and at the end of the year Sleeping Beauty.
So I will do the Tchaikovsky trifecta.
I was amazed in one particular place last night. Usually the music covers up everything on the stage, but in one section there was only a harp playing. I heard how often the lead ballerina's feet were hitting the stage. Phenomenal athlete in a little petite package.
