At some point, I have to cut people some slack for staying on - because I noped out on (or maybe before) sink day.

I have to recognize that not everyone shares my absolutist stance.

Anyway, that point where I have to cut people slack ... that basically ended after 2023.

But if people are finally scuttling away, there's no point in lambasting them for taking so long. It accomplishes nothing (except self-important preening, like me in the preceding paragraphs). Just welcome them and move on.
