I think it used to be shown every once in a while (yearly, maybe) in the afternoon slot for movies in the biggest network.

But even the 40yo may be too young to have caught that slot, as it lost its relevance after cable exploded.
I know it, but never watched it. I was not one for things with horror and modern-day musicals at that age.
