did i mention i applied to be a volunteer at the Olympics in Italy, 2026? I assume i won't get selected, but i applied anyway.

you don't need to speak Italian. The requirement is Italian or English (if i somehow got selected i would immediately start Italian lessons though, so i had some basic words and phrases.)

You have to pay for your own travel and accommodations.
I actually selected three locations outside of Milan proper as my choices.

I assume they'll have enough mostly local people, but who knows? Plenty of international people were accepted for Paris.
