That's really not true. It's a "vibe" thing. As pixie says, wages are outpacing inflation, but that doesn't stop people from reacting to higher

prices. The economy overall has performed better than Trump's by a good bit based on jobs created, GDP and (other than inflation on a temporary basis, almost entirely caused by transitory supply chain issues), virtually every other metric.
