i know the facts. i'm giving you the view of someone who is arguing that Trump would be good for them individually.

i've said this before - i grew up incredibly conservative, most of my and my partner's extended families are still very conservative. you cannot dismiss them or how they feel, that is not the way to reach them. there has to be some understanding of how people think. we're not at war with each other, even a Trump voter. we're at war with a few very powerful people who are pitting us against each other.
have some empathy for where people come from and why they make choices. if i'm poor and the only time i got ahead a little bit was from Trump, i'm not stupid or shitty for wanting to have that again.
