LYC: The 2 groups that PATD split into are 2 completely different styles

I loved PATD when there first CD came out. I saw them three times, and truthfilly think their first cd is a brilliant piece of pop rock music. The second cd while critically praised was horrible IMO. Tried to be too much of an indie beatles. This may be the reason why the CD was a huge bomb.

Well the lead singer and another bandmember kept the name PATD, and have released a single. It's okay. Much more first album style than second, but still has a bit of that second album feel. The other group formed out of the split "The Young Veins" released a single 'Change' which is terrible. They take the second album and make them sound like a Beatles cover band.
