I'm not really sure they are a scam. We *feel* they are scam if we pay a dollar more than the lowest we feel the car could sell for.

But when we bargain and agree on a price, aren't both sides agreeing? Doesn't that assume both sides are satisfied with the price of the sale? If not, walk away.
