The dealers were already making money on the price of the new car before the program was initiated. Post initiation, their revenue increases by virtue

of increased volume of sales. Has everyone gotten so drunk on the Obama Kool aid that blatant price gouging is to be welcomed?
Sure the aim of the program is laudable, but without strict price controls on the sellers, the 4,500/3500 of public funds to be used as an incentive for people to trade in their old cars, an unjustified share of that will go to unscrupulous car sellers who already make money by way of the higher sales.
The people are getting ripped off. But hey, ripoffs are good for the economy too! Good God.
