Harris/Walz wins the popular vote.

The Electoral College tabulations are thrown into utter chaos for any number of reasons such as:

-- A key swing state (probably OH or NC) fails to certify its slate of electors in time;
-- The electoral vote is tied at 269-269; or
-- the Heritage Foundation's efforts to contest the election results in a few key counties (or even precincts) are largely successful, thus denying a full tabulation of electoral votes.

Since the Electoral College cannot complete its Constitutional duty, the decision is thrown to the House.

The House chooses Trump/Vance.

Vice President Vance ascends to President on July 4th, 2026. He and his sycophants assert that he is the fulfillment of the vision of Christian Nationalism that our Founders sought to establish 250 years ago.
