If you really want to save space, don't pack any socks or underwear, just buy them at Wal Mart when you get to wherever you're going.

Then, when you've "gone through" these new purchases, you need to get rid of them before you fly back home. Just don't put them in a plastic bag and leave them at the side of the road, or under the seat at the movies. That would be pretty bad form.
