Here is the thing about roasts too. Beyond that not being the right venue, they have to be creative. Basic racism isn’t that.

He ain’t no Lisa Lampanelli who does the stereotypes, but peppers it hard with self depreciation, and endearing crowd work.
He ain’t no Trey and Parker from Southpark with an overarching story, pointed irreverence, and decades of legacy to build on.
That was none of either of those things
