Has promoted the conspiracy theories he references. I don’t think the answer to that is giving them what they’ve aimed for. I recognize the challenge of appearing unbiased when one side is blatantly dishonest but has followers who believe it, but not recognizing those differences just causes loss of trust of the rest of the audience and will do nothing to win back the others. Defeating the leader of the one who has been the main source of sowing distrust is the best option and whether or not intended, cowing to their attacks doesn’t solve the problem as much as defeating him.
