Speaking of polls, one comment about an annoying thing CBS does (this isn't about any polling results)

Maybe others do this too, but I've seen CBS do this repeatedly this cycle.

They release their polls results and say:
Presidential Candidate A is +2 nationally
Presidential Candidate A is +1 in the battleground states

We all know that national polls are only worth so much since we elect based on Electoral Votes, not the popular vote. But national polls are about the best proxy we have, so whatever, we use them, we're used to it.

But calculating a subset of states results to come up with a 'Battlegrounds' average? What an absolutely pointless statistic
