I don't think fit matters when you're as inaccurate as Richardson.

I know that Josh Allen did the unexpected, but he's the extremely rare exception to the rule.

Richardson was atrocious at Florida. Kim and I both said at the time he shouldn't be starting for them. So, expecting him to blossom in the NFL was a penny thrown into a wishing well.

To a larger point, his final drive with Indy showed a staggering lack of situational awareness. He didn't run out of bounds. He threw a pass down the middle of the field. He tried a short throw that would have been a disaster. He just doesn't understand winning football.

He's still just 22. So, maybe he'll learn in a few years, but when the starting center is calling out the starting QB, there's not much cause for optimism.
