who also see themselves as the official opposition, instead of truth tellers. Plus the whole "real Americans" bullshit. It's a grand kaleidoscope of factors that the WaPo finally stepped in and triggered with the non-endorsement. People are pissed at legacy media and aren't going to passively sit back and lectured about what they should want or "need to understand the perspective of" anymore (or at least until 6 months from now).
