That's a starting point for shopping
I spent years buying shoes and socks that were specifically designed to let in like all the breezes and be as cool as possible.
I also remember my first business trip to New England in November and getting out the airport at TF Green and feeling like my feet were never ever going to thaw out as the ambient temperature of like 30 F went seemingly straight through my shoes and socks
I wore my uncomfortable (but warm!) leather, wear with then de rigueur business suit, shoes for the rest of the strip. Regardless of suit or not.
