speaking of local politics, I was surprised to find the county we moved into ran blue almost all the way down the ticket apart from a couple judges.

After living in IL in a solidly red county for so long and seeing how red most of the state is at the county level, I never bothered to look
Despite all the Trump signs around the town, that was a small consolation
