On some days, you're just given the straightforward clues which will reveal whodunit.
On other days, you're given those, plus statements from the suspects - one of them is lying, and the one who is lying is the murderer. It can be really hard to figure out who's telling the truth and who is lying. Fuzzy and his daughter call these "hatements" because they make the murdle many times more difficult to solve
