Heh. Real chance that I've been brainwashed by Premier League fandom but I'm becoming a no playoffs fan when feasible -- (edited)

Racing seems to be one of those sports.
It'll absolutely never happen but just imagine a MLB totally balanced schedule where everybody plays everybody an equal amount of games home and home. The DH rule was one of the things that prevented that but that went away ;-)
Yes I know that likely number would have the history folks complaining as it would require a longer regular season (174 = (30-1) = 29 x 6 games [3 games series home and home) and thus mess with the season records but 🤷♂️
But nobody qualifies for the playoffs cause they got to play the equivalent of this years CWS (Or Angels) an unbalanced number of times. Every team would visit every park, every year. (To me: !)
NFL is just too brutal a sport (though imagine the owners glee at a 62 game (!) season)
