A military coup wouldn't surprise me in a year or two because...
The Tax on foreign goods tanks the economy.
He rounds up millions of people, puts them in camps under the guise of deporting them (but really just let them suffer a bit because MAGA is out for maximum pain now)
Ukraine surrenders because they can't keep fighting without our support (I know Nato and Europe have plans in place for the next year).
Russia starts making noises about Poland or the Balkan states.
He abolishes the Dept of Ed throwing millions of kids into chaos
He hollows out the military high command with his commission.
...I know there's more but that's off the top of my head. All of this makes a coup not impossible. Although the leadership is college educated and steeped in obeying guardrails but the rank-an-file are predictably...less predictable.
