The reason we have a cumbersome Bureaucracy is because so many will try to game the system and steal as much as they can, look at pandemic relief..

within a month of pandemic 'paycheck's BILLIONS were fleeced from public coffers, so much so the fbi thought it was an inside job.
the forgivable payments for buisnesses to retain workers was stacked in favor of businesses that would NOT have laid off workers like the catholic church.
there's a reason the pentagon pays 900 for a hammer, 2000 for a coffee pot, to prevent fraud and wholesale theft embezzlement.
every time the fed deregulates, savings and loan, factory food processing, logging, the grift is faster and more furious than a gulf of mexico hurricane
so if elon's cost cutting comes to anything there will be historic fraud that would make reagan's and bush bank dereg look amateurish and our national debt will balloon to 100 T
