I watched Seven Samurai, which is about a desperate farming village being threatened by bandits and hiring samurai, so you know.

As I've said before, it's my most re-watched black and white film by far. Perfect movie territory. It has it all, it's epic.
The current subtitle translation I am watching is better than the one I own from Criterion from the 2000s and it can be found on Kanopy.
