Those jobs were created by Biden, prior to the election and people still voted red. I dont think people are necessarily voting in their own self- -- (edited)

interest, but on emotion. I think blue collar workers in MI are emotionally anti-EVs because they associate them with people who are wealthy, people with higher education and people in CA. I have no facts to support this, but it's my perception based on relatives who love Trump, are blue collar and live in CA. Everyone in their area hates EVs and cites them as another out of touch policy by CA, by outlawing gas vehicles after 2035. They claim there are no heavy equipment EVs with enough power to work their ranches and farms.
