My stopper takes some effort on my part. Also, hard alcohol sneaks up on me big time.

If I stuck with beer I'm usually much better because I get to a "full" state.
With alcohol (and/or shots), I don't realize how drunk I'm getting until it's too late, and then I just keep going.
