I haven't done all the touristy stuff yet, because I've been busy with work since I moved, but I've done some. Here are some options, some which I can personally recommend, some which I just know about:
(btw, the temperatures here have been gorgeous. Great outdoor walking weather)
- Millennium Park/The Bean
- From there, you can walk up Michigan Ave to the Magnificent Miles
- Sears Tower (now, officially, known as Willis Tower) Skydeck on the 103rd floor. Now with glass ledges! Allow time, the wait is long. Will cost you 14.95/adult (or, to express past the line, $30).
- Museums. Chicago has a ton. Art Institute (haven't been yet, supposed to be amazing). Field Museum (went with Kilbo a few years ago. awesome museum).
