It's a given you must have Chicago pizza. Here are some rules.

A) It must be deep dish. I love New York Pizza, but you're in Chicago, you have to have deep dish.
B) It must be from a local place
C) Every Chicagoan has a different favorite, and none agree. Here's my knowledge on the topic (all placed mentioned are multi-location local Chicago chains)
- I had Giordano's when I was hear several years ago. It was very good. It's a major local chain. Appears to be one a couple of blocks from your hotel at 130 E Randolph. I've heard some folks say they don't like it, but I did.
- Lou Malnati's comes highly recommended from a Chicagoland area native friend. I haven't had it, my brother and some friends did and said it was good. No locations in the loop itself. Locations nearish the Loop at 439 N Wells and 805 South State
- Gino's East. I've only had their thin crust. I did not like the dough at all. Local Chicagoland native friend also says to avoid.
You should also try a real Chicago Dog.
