Today in a forum I am on, i saw someone railing at a cruise line because their plane arrived late and they missed the first two days of the cruise

because it took that long to catch up to it and board.

They flew US to Europe and planned to land the morning that the ship embarked and there was some issue and they didn't make it. They were furious with the *ship* for not doing something to make it up to them.

Dude, not the ship's fault your plane was late and you didn't account for that possibility...

More info LYC - We are booked to take a cruise with my mom in March, she really wants to go and needs someone to go with. I joined a group for the ship to see if there were any helpful tips etc. So far, there are not.
