No idea how common little appearances like this are in pop music. Veteran Kpop band fromis_9 in a boozy noodle shop sing along.

One member is the most spontaneous. Another forgets the lyrics. Another embarrasses themselves. Several stand on their seat and dance.

Oh, this band is one of my favorites and happily, they sing songs that I knew already from Spotify play lists.

The customers act like they didn't know it was going to be them and like their minds are blown when they show up. *shrug*

Anyway, all this had me wondering if American pop acts ever do stuff like this. I've seen ads for Kpop fan events before. No idea if it's normal for those to get this raucous. I get the feeling that in the US publicity is one hundred percent reliant on Internet/soc med rather than physical engagement since that is the cheapest. IDK.
