I responded before, but I think it was LIR, but I can completely understand the kids reaction. The Farrah documentary and the related talk show

appearances have made him out to be saintly. If half of what they say is true (and I think it's pretty believable given prior arrests and such), it must be galling for them and I can understand why they don't want that picture of him painted in the media. It will also only cast a negative light on their struggles if he's viewed as the "good guy". It may seem bitter and is to a fair degree, but I can see why they can't let it be.
