The very first year I ever played fantasy, I lost a game based on a the pass-lateral ruling.

As I recall, it was Dan Marino to Keith Jackson lateral to Irving Fryar.
I had Jackson, who didn't score, and my opponent had Marino.
That's OK. I got revenge later in the year. Also, my team was terrible as I had no clue how to draft.
