Yes, pre-clear US customs in Montreal. That's what my Global Entry does. But customs is different than security. Security is what TSA Precheck does.

CATSA (Canadian Air Transport Security Authority) runs security in Canadian airports. TSA (Transportation Security Authority) runs security in American airports. So the fact that TSA rules now apply in Canada is why this is unusual to me.
