Poker last night was crazy -- I ended up 2nd out of 29, so yay - I had 4 pocket pairs all night. All 4 flopped a set.

We nearly had a 5-way all-in before the first hour was up...start with 10,000 chips, blinds were 100/200.
I have King-Queen of hearts, I call. Guy next to me goes all-in for 6k. Guy at end of table folds, next guy calls the 6k, guy before me folds his hand, I fold.
Flop comes
Ten hearts, 9 spades, 5 hearts. All 3 of us folders start to bitch. Turn is a nothing, river is the Ace of hearts.
All-in guy had Ace-King
Caller had pocket 10's (winner)
I folded the nut flush
Guy at the end of table folded T9 so he would have flopped 2 pair
Guy next to me folded pocket 9's so he would have flopped middle set and been dead.
---
Final table, I have 50k because I just knocked a guy out with my 2nd flopped set.
Guy across the table has 30k and is 2nd place.
I have pocket 9's...he goes all-in before I get a chance to make a move...I fold and he gets a short-stack caller -- turns over Ace-King. Flop is Ace-9-3 so I would have flopped a set and knocked him out.
Next hand...like, legit next hand, I get pocket 8's and raise to 12k. He pushes all-in for 40k or so. I figure he can't have a good hand again and I call.
88 vs KK....flop is Ace-8-4 and he gets eliminated but back to back hands of flopped sets is crazy.
