Painting isn't fun but I love switching things up every few years. We just did the kitchen blue and yellow. The bathroom is a light green and white.

I did both over the summer. I still need to do the bedroom but we haven't decided on a color yet and I'll do the living room again in the spring with a color we like more.
It's a little time consuming and tiring but I think it's worth it to have a place I enjoy being in a bit more.
