If it's the former, I don't care. I already don't text sensitive information like passwords, account numbers, etc. I don't care if some Chinese dude reads the conversation where I ask my mom what she wants me to pick up for her for dinner.

I believe the former is the concern. Many services still text authorization codes and people certainly will send sensitive information to others - oblique Dec 4, 07:09 17
