Welp. Looks like we’re going to be looking into replacing our boiler next year.

Repair went fine, if a bit pricy. but when I asked the guy when he usually sees people look into replacing their systems he said for our type of boiler would usually be good for 25-30 years. Ours was apparently installed 38 years ago, so we’ve been heating in borrowed time.
