I wouldn't have been surprised if it turned out to be McCain - how many other Republicans have are in favour of a carbon cap and trade system?

Obviously I'm not talking about the 'workability' of the cap and trade system he proposed. But saying "We need to put a price on carbon" is, if you'll excuse the term, maverick-y.
(Not so maverick-y - keeping quiet about it in the campaign)
