It depends on how narrow a definition of hate you're using.

not everyone makes their decision based on personal malice, but the institutional "otherness" imposed, mostly as codified by religious teachings, is to me just another form of hate, because it sets a group apart as separate from another, and therefore inherently less worthy of the same rights and privileges.
