Matt Jones couldn't even get a tryout in Baltimore.

When Mason was retired, and the next two guys on the depth chart were injury prone.

Last year he more than doubled his career high in games started. He still didn't start every game he played he.

He also had a career low in TDs (and it averages out more to 2.6, so maybe 3, than 4), yards per reception, and longest reception. His starter status did get him a higher receptions per game and yards per game, though.

He was tied for 69th in yards per reception last season. He was 11th in receptions per game. He tied for 92nd in TDs. Those are among all receiving stats, so there are some TEs (and possibly RBs) in there.

He wasn't having that great a year, he was just the Jags only option. Their #2 in receiving yardage was MJD. This is a team that actually had Troy Williamson suited up for half the season. The other WR options were Northcutt and Reggie Williams.
