personal sharing/soliciting input/venting; news and info.; tech. support; polls polls.
we seem to have spates of self-inspection and critiquing, sorta; and there's been some of that going on lately.
it's happened every so often in the almost 10 years i've been tt/st'ing. i remember feathers, et al, talking about signal-to-noise back in the day; and discussions re: if things would be as good as they used to be, etc. we're so cyclical. ;p
