Absolutely agreed. My one sole complaint with the Halo games ....

... is that they spend so much time on the action, and not enough on the story, when the story is so rich and fleshed out in other media.
I mean, even just one of the major battles could be an entire movie - if they had more than one character that they concentrated on.
