Harry Potter question - some students obviously come back to Hogwarts to teach, but what happens to the rest?

I haven't read the books.

Do they become professional wizards? Is there college after the boarding school? Does Oxford recognize Hogwarts accredidation?

Are there similar schools to Hogwarts in the US, India, China, etc?
