Okay, ST Challenge Time: I've been googling for an hour and a half, off and on, trying to find a specific gallery of photos.

Photos taken in one of the harshest environments on earth, in the middle of an arid desert choked dry by a lack of water.

The desert previously had lakes and ponds, but as they became acidic when the H2O evaporated, they have resulted in all kinds of crazy mineral formations - crazy shapes, crazy colours.

Can anyone find the gallery for me? I thought it was on NatGeo or Boston.com, but apparently I was wrong.
