I thought one of the coolest scenes in the middle of S2 was (spoils)

that presentation Don saw about civil defense. The quick flashes of the slides, the nukes, the explosions and his being overwhelmed at the thought of it all (and a perceived hopelessness). Phenomenal imagery and use of what I gather was legit material from back then.
