Yes, but the fact also remains that it was not like Tiger was getting whooped without it or that he was even going to lose without it.

My point is simply that to imply that without the clock he didn't stand a chance is a gross exaggeration. It could have gone either way and Tiger played spectacularly well. A 65 on the final day. That hardly suggests that Tiger needs help to keep up.
