Surprise! GM's "230 MPG" for the Chevy Volt is just a bunch of PR crap. The EPA hasn't rated the Volt yet. -- (link)

In an earlier statement, the E.P.A. said it had �not tested a Chevy Volt and therefore cannot confirm the fuel economy values claimed by G.M.�

Seriously, even if it's 100MPG on average, it blows everything else on the market out of the water.
