So I told her good luck, it was great working with her and I think that it would really suck if I never saw her again.

I said I definitely wanted to keep in touch and if she was ever in the area again I'd really like to see her. (she, or her mother I suppose, actually bought a place where she's going to school; it's three hours away in Mass.)
She agreed to keep in touch, she's got my cell number for the texting we've been doing. (and she liked that I went out of my way to stop in and see her on her last day) and she said she'd stop in the store if she was in the area (she'll be around for a couple more days before her move is complete)...and that was about it. We were both smiling the whole time while talking and I gave her a big hug.
There was no "big moment" or move even though I had been practicing my mini-speech in my head for days. I dig her more than anyone else that's come long in several years and I wasn't going to risk anything.
When I had asked her out last month she mentioned that she just wasn't thinking about looking for someone at that point in her life because she had so much going on. I can wait.
