went to see district 9 tonight... spoilerish comments and a grade on the film inside...

first half of the movie, slow.. i'd give it a C at best .... the whole 'documentary' feel of it was turning me off some....
second half of the show? much better.... firm B / B+ on the second half of the film.... FINALLY got some action.
i did like how they started playing the aliens off as sympathetic.... and the 'little alien boy' was almost cute. if not almost annoying... and a little einstein working over all the controls on the little ship...
overall grade? i'd say B- .... prob worth the rental, a cautious worth seeing in the theaters....
