Speaking of health care, an update on my wife.

I think my last post said that the prilosec was helping her feel a lot better. Unfortunately, that's no longer the case.

(Warning: icky sentence dead ahead) After her last period, she started feeling horribly nauseous again with constant diarrhea. She lost another 10 pounds in 4 days. Her energy level this time has been drained. Almost the complete opposite of last month.

Last Monday she had an endoscopy (I gag just thinking about this) which didn't give a clue as to what's causing the problems. On Thursday, she had an ultrasound of her stomach. Still no clue.

The next few steps of stool sample, colonoscopy and something stomach related I can't remember are pretty unpleasant, and don't have a great chance, imo, of figuring out what's wrong. I still hope for the best, but I think the chances of this being something easily fixable are dwindling.
